Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Negombo
Welcome to Sri Lanka. Meet your Gazebo Tours representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Negombo. Relax by the beach or take a short evening walk along the coast. Overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 2 – Negombo to Sigiriya
After breakfast, travel to Sigiriya, stopping at the Dambulla Cave Temple en route. In the afternoon, climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding plains. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 3 – Sigiriya to Kandy
Head to Kandy, visiting a spice garden in Matale along the way. In the evening, explore the Temple of the Tooth and watch a traditional cultural dance show. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 4 – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Drive through lush tea country, stopping at a tea factory and plantation. Visit Ramboda Falls before arriving in Nuwara Eliya, the cool hill town often called “Little England.” Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5 – Nuwara Eliya to Ella (Train Journey)
Take the scenic train ride through misty hills and tea estates to Ella. Visit Little Adam’s Peak and the Nine Arches Bridge. Overnight stay in Ella.

Day 6 – Ella to Yala
Travel south to Yala National Park. In the evening, enjoy a jeep safari and try your luck spotting leopards, elephants, and colorful birds. Overnight stay near Yala.

Day 7 – Yala to Galle
After breakfast, travel along the southern coast to the historic city of Galle. Explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort and enjoy the relaxed coastal atmosphere. Overnight stay in Galle.

Day 8 – Galle to Bentota
Continue to Bentota, where you can unwind on the golden beach or take part in water sports along the river. Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 9 – Bentota to Colombo / Departure
After breakfast, drive to Colombo for a brief city tour including Independence Square, Galle Face Green, and the Dutch Hospital Precinct. Later, transfer to the airport for your departure flight, carrying with you lasting memories of the wonder that is Sri Lanka.
