Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Negombo
Your journey begins with a warm welcome at the airport by Gazebo Tours. Transfer to your seaside hotel in Negombo and relax after your flight. Evening free to enjoy the beach or a short boat ride on the lagoon. Overnight stay in Negombo.

Day 2 – Negombo to Sigiriya
After breakfast, travel to Sigiriya. Stop at the Dambulla Cave Temple before climbing the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the afternoon. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 3 – Sigiriya to Kandy
Drive to Kandy, visiting a spice garden in Matale along the way. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth and enjoy a traditional cultural dance show. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 4 – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Enjoy a scenic drive through tea plantations, stopping to visit a tea factory and Ramboda Falls. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, also known as “Little England.” Explore Gregory Lake and the colonial town center. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5 – Nuwara Eliya to Ella (Train Ride)
Take the world-famous train journey through misty valleys and green tea fields to Ella. Visit Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak. Overnight stay in Ella.

Day 6 – Ella to Yala
Travel south to Yala National Park. In the evening, enjoy a thrilling jeep safari in search of leopards, elephants, and exotic birds. Overnight stay near Yala.

Day 7 – Yala to Mirissa
After breakfast, head to Mirissa. Relax by the sea or enjoy optional whale-watching during the season. Overnight stay in Mirissa.

Day 8 – Mirissa to Galle
Continue along the southern coast to visit the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with colonial charm, boutique shops, and ocean views. Overnight stay in Galle.

Day 9 – Galle to Colombo
Drive back to Colombo and enjoy a short city tour covering Independence Square, the Old Parliament, and Galle Face Green. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 10 – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight, carrying memories of a truly remarkable escape through Serendib.
